We offer a variety of Summer Camps for all skill levels.
We are very excited to bring to families exceptional equestrian fun and safe learning experiences for riders of all ages and skill levels. If your son or daughter has expressed an interest in learning to ride a horse or is interested in learning how to ride safely with a friend or sibling, Hillary Carlson, LLC offers amazing opportunities during the summer months!
At our equestrian experience day camps, we work with campers as young as 4 years old and teach them about horses and ponies in an up-close, hands-on, safe atmosphere. Campers ride every day in our small group settings. In addition to students’ “mounted lessons” we teach daily sessions that include demonstration lectures, followed by question and answer sessions. We also feature special guest speakers who give our campers instructional demonstrations and speak to the campers weekly.
Hillary Carlson was amazing in working with our twins for their first lessons. Both of our girls have special needs and she exceeded our expectations in how she treated them. We are grateful that she was their first experience, we have found our long-term coach!
Hillary has been teaching my 6 year-old daughter riding lessons for about a month now and we will not go anywhere else. She is patient, kind, and SO knowledgeable and professional to a tee. You can truly tell that she loves what she does and it is apparent in the lessons and attentiveness she gives each and every one of her students! 5 Stars!
My daughter just started with Hillary this summer and has had under 10 lessons...within such a short time, I can see an amazing change already in her confidence, listening skills, and she has such a great positive attitude!!! She wants to be more involved with other things and is just so happy in general. Hillary has an amazing gift for teaching these young children with her horses. I see such bright eyes and the want to learn when we're there. If you're on the fence about starting lessons, I highly recommend her program!!! Hillary is truly amazing!!!
